Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jama platform operated by Jama ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Account Terms

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of FBR IRIS credentials you provide
  • One person or entity may maintain multiple company profiles under a single account
  • You must not use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of Pakistani law

Service Description

Jama provides digital invoicing software that integrates with FBR's API through PRAL. We facilitate the submission of invoice data to FBR on your behalf using the credentials you provide. We are not a licensed tax advisor, chartered accountant, or FBR representative.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your invoice data and compliance with FBR regulations. Jama provides tools to help you comply but does not guarantee compliance.

Payment and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in Pakistani Rupees (PKR)
  • Payment is due at the beginning of each billing period
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Setup fees are currently waived during our launch period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis for the current billing period

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your data remains accessible until the end of the period, after which it will be handled according to our data retention policy.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you submit to the platform. We process your data only as necessary to provide the service.

FBR Integration

  • Jama submits invoice data to FBR using your IRIS credentials
  • We are not responsible for FBR API downtime, changes, or errors on FBR's side
  • Sandbox mode submissions are for testing only and do not affect your tax records
  • Production mode submissions are real and irreversible once accepted by FBR
  • You must verify your invoice data before submitting in production mode

Limitation of Liability

Jama is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Pakistan.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the application. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
